Antisperm antibodies work against sperm, as their name suggests. It occurs when sperm in a mans semen is incorrectly identified by the immune system as an invader and is harmed or destroyed as a result. Antibodies against sperm are uncommon. They can be produced by both sexes. When sperm comes into touch with blood, immunological reactions can be triggered in men who have a prostate infection or testicular damage. This may also occur following testicular surgery, such as a vasectomy.
