Histopathology involves dissecting tissues to learn more about the disease and its underlying causes. A histology lab uses a microscope to examine the tissues. A biopsy is performed during the process. The tissue is pre-processed before the examination, followed by treatment and analysis. The type of tissue being analysed and the nature of the study are taken into consideration when providing histopathology services.
