Radionuclide venography (RNV) is a nuclear medicine imaging technique that is used for the diagnosis of DVT. It's also used for blood clot or another kind of blockage in vein. It can be used to look at vein problems present at birth (congenital) or to find a vein for bypass graft surgery. It is also used to find out causes of swelling or pain in a leg.
