Complete Blood Count (CBC):- A complete blood count (CBC) is a blood test used to evaluate your overall health and detect a wide range of disorders, including anemia, infection and leukemia. A complete blood count test measures several components and features of your blood, including: Red blood cells, which carry oxygen. Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) :- HbA1c is an important indicator of long-term glycemic control with the ability to reflect the cumulative glycemic history of the preceding two to three months. HbA1c not only provides a reliable measure of chronic hyperglycemia but also correlates well with the risk of long-term diabetes complications. Transferrin Saturation:- Transferrin saturations of less than 20% indicate iron deficiency, while transferrin saturations of more than 50% suggest iron overload. Iron tests frequently performed together to diagnose iron deficiency or overload include serum iron, ferritin, IBC, and transferrin levels. KIDNEY PROFILE:- Kidney function test results can tell you whether your kidneys are functioning typically or not. Most function tests look for two measurements: GFR of less than 60 could indicate kidney disease. Urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) of more than 30 milligrams per gram could be a warning sign of kidney disease. Liver Function Test (LFT) - Extended :- Liver function tests can be used to: Screen for liver infections, such as hepatitis. Monitor the progression of a disease, such as viral or alcoholic hepatitis, and determine how well a treatment is working. Measure the severity of a disease, particularly scarring of the liver (cirrhosis) Calcium:- Calcium is a mineral most often associated with healthy bones and teeth, although it also plays an important role in blood clotting, helping muscles to contract, and regulating normal heart rhythms and nerve functions. Total Iron-Binding Capacity (TIBC):- Total iron binding capacity (TIBC) is a blood test to see if you have too much or too little iron in your blood. Iron moves through the blood attached to a protein called transferrin. This test helps your health care provider know how well that protein can carry iron in your blood. 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D (25-OH-Vit D):- The 25-hydroxy vitamin D test is the most accurate way to measure how much vitamin D is in your body. Vitamin D helps control calcium and phosphate levels in the body. Blood is drawn from a vein (venipuncture), usually from the inside of the elbow or the back of the hand. Vitamin D3:- Vitamin D (ergocalciferol-D2, cholecalciferol-D3, alfacalcidol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Having the right amount of vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus is important for building and keeping strong bones. Basic Lipid Profile:- A lipid profile is a blood test that measures the amount of cholesterol and fats called triglycerides in the blood. These measurements give the doctor a quick snapshot of whats going on in your blood. Cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood can clog arteries, making you more likely to develop heart disease. Vitamin B12:-Vitamin B12 is needed to form red blood cells and DNA. It is also a key player in the function and development of brain and nerve cells. Vitamin B12 binds to the protein in the foods we eat. In the stomach, hydrochloric acid and enzymes unbind vitamin B12 into its free form. Urine Routine:- A routine urine culture detects the amount of germs (microorganisms like bacteria) present in the urine. Once a urine sample is collected, a technician will keep it in conditions where microorganisms can multiply. Normally, no more than a small number of germs will be in the urine if theres no infection.
